Single Living can actually be fun. Who doesn’t like nice things? If we have great curb appeal, we won’t mind coming home. Decorating takes our mind away from all of the heavy stuff we may be experiencing in our daily lives. Yesterday, I discussed the ex coming to the front door. Today, I will touch on the presentation of your front door. How welcoming is your door or porch? Spring is here and I love gardening and decorating with flowers. I even change the table settings and centerpieces to reflect the season. I will show you how to decorate with flowers to brighten up your curb appeal.
First, does your door need a fresh coat of paint? I have always loved a black or red front door. Whatever your favorite color, try it on your door. Though, you shouldn’t go too wild. You don’t want the neighbors on your back.
We always need a great welcome mat.
Flowers are needed to complete the look.

The perfect flowers for your front porch
Flower markets are the great place to find what you are looking for in flowers and flower arrangements. If you have any questions, I bet that these experts can assist you. Topiaries, gladiolus, snap dragons, small green abivortes, boxwoods, foxgloves etc are great for the front porch. If you would like to use flowers for the inside, calla lilies, roses, hydrangeas, etc. Lucky bamboo (tall) is also great. Try using all of the same color in an arrangement for a modern effect.
Some people use a wreath on the door. If that would make you happy, by all means do it. Though I hope that these suggestions offer some great ideas for you to try as well. If you use any of these suggestions, please send me a picture of what you have done and I will showcase it (anonymously- if you would like).
Enjoy your day!
