The Great Cookie Bake-Off
Everyone knows that cookies and the holidays go together. Before Christmas is officially here, call some of your besties and have a cookie cook-off. Who says that cookies are just for the kiddies? There is always one in the group who feels that she is the best baker out of all of you. {She just may be} Make the challenge. Everyone should bake or bring their favorite cookies. None of you can bring the same cookies. This is not a children’s gathering, so some of the treats can be infused with alcohol.
For instance, there is an online bakery called The Cookie Bar that specializes in these delicious cookies. Some of their specialties are the Whiskey Doodle (their take on the snickerdoodle), Tipsy Velvet (their take on a Red Velvet cookie), and Limoncello (their take on a cookie made from my favorite drink).
If you prefer to make your own, there are several different varieties of alcohol infused desserts on Pinterest. Or, I have my own:

Any reason is a good one when you are spending time with your friends. If you don’t have to drive home because your friend is kind enough to let you stay, enjoy. If you must drive, eat and drink responsibly. Make sure you crank a few festive songs.
