Turning Heartbreak Into Something Positive
Imagine you are planning your wedding. You have ordered the food, hired the caterers, bought the dress, and the flowers . All deposits have been paid in full. One week before the nuptials, your fiancee’ has cold feet and cancels the wedding.
This is not a scene from a movie or television show. This was real life for a young California woman named Quinn Duane. You can only imagine how hurt she must have been.
After all of that preparation and money spent – $35,000 deposit for the wedding reception. What was a girl to do in this situation?
Naturally, she turned to her mother, Kari Duane. Like most moms, she immediately sprang into action. She didn’t want her daughter to have to call and cancel everything – as I’m sure she wanted to protect her from the pain of this process.
Quinn, with the help of her family, decided to give the flowers to senior citizens in a nursing home. Not only that, some very appreciative homeless families were treated to a lavish dinner fit for a bride and her wedding party.
She couldn’t personally make it to the dinner, as she was still distraught. However, her family represented on her behalf.
Yes, Quinn Duane found a way to turn her heartbreak into something positive. She used her generous heart to think of someone else in her most difficult moment in life. She made a lot of people happy.

I couldn’t come out of a simple break-up. This brave woman seemed to put her feelings aside and thought of others. How do you think you would have responded?
It seems like her ex-fiance lost a great catch.
Have a great weekend.
